Soy Gloria Cuberos

Gloria Cuberos

I am an accredited Coach (CPC) with emphasis in leadership by iPEC in the United States. I work passionately with people getting to know themselves better, to recognize their personal and professional possibilities, and to  strengthen their communication competencies,  relationship building and leadership skills, making their companies stand out in a challenging and changing market.

I apply the Energy-Based Leadership framework (Bruce Schneider, iPEC), which starts from recognizing the “emotional tone” of the company and individuals. We act constructively or destructively based on our beliefs and emotions, and sometimes, in the midst of the obstacles race we live in, our first reaction to a problem is destructive.

Throughout my 35 years of professional experience in information technology, I saw communication is the common factor of people unproductiveness and discontent, creating friction and dissatisfaction in the customer experience, conflicts and high labor turnover and costly rework for the company.

This is why I train work teams to recognize these situations and identify the origin of negative reactions, in order to address them in a timely manner, transforming them into constructive actions. When individuals are responsible for their results, they permanently add value and the leader, in turn, can confidently guide committed people.

¿Too good to be true? May be when we read it, and don’t practice. So, once the organization becomes aware, I focus on helping to consolidate the process by supporting people in defining the habits that can transform the culture along with follow-up guidelines that guarantee the result.

And something more about me...

When I’m not with clients, I invest part of my time increasing my knowledge in areas of work such as: communication, leadership and interpersonal relationships, seeking to enrich my practice on a daily basis.

On the other hand, I live my day by routines that allow me to better manage my day to day, with exercise, meditation and good nutrition, and I plan my time productively.

In my free time I build relationships with my family, friends and affinity groups. I practice belly dance, I am an amateur photographer and do some cycling. I enjoy pleasant conversations in good company, sharing a good meal.
