Leadership Competencies
I support companies and professionals in the process of competencies development so they can maximize their leadership performance
¿What does being a leader mean?
Stop and consciously think for a moment...
What knowledge and experience do you have to make decisions? How do you keep tuned with environment changes?
What are the expectations you and the people in your team have about the objectives you are set to accomplish?
What self-management disciplines do you practice?
How do you feel about delegating what you are proficient at to others in your team?
What time-management challenges are you facing in your role as a leader?
How do you care about your health in order to assure you are physically and mentally fit for being an excellent leader at all times?
How do you empower people in your team so they can make sound decisions?
How do you make sure your message is getting accross when you communicate?
How do you live and make others live by your company values?
How do you tackle problem solving and stimulate others to be effective solving problems?
How do you create a trusting environment where people come to you with innovative solutions, communicate failures on time and count on you as a leader?
How are you building constructive relationships both, inside and outside of the organization?
Here is what we can do together:
Take eight fundamental competencies for leadership as a base
Make each leader (or you if you take the individual programme) assess his / her skills to identify how close is to being the leader the organization is needing
Choose from the assessment a couple of competencies whose strengthening create real impact in his / her leading style
Make each leader create a workplan that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time bound so he / she starts improving immediately
Have two 30-minutes meetings with each leader to follow up and adjust anything that might be required in order to become successful in implementing the workplan
Training contents:
Leadership wheel self-assessment
Identification of one or two aspects to be improved
Energetic Self-perception Model (1) review in order to get acquainted with mental blocks and beliefs that may be affecting the leader's performance
Beliefs and emotions change practice
Workplan creation, meeting SMART (2) criteria
Methodology:
This programme is designed as a workshop for a leadership team or to be taken individually by leaders in personalized 1-1 sessions so that you can focus in the competencies that must be improved.
We can agree to as many 30 minute follow-up sessions as you consider necessary to make sure you successfully execute your workplan and achieve your objectives.
