Effective Communication
I accompany your ongoing transformation for enhancing the skills you need to become a better communicator
What happens in your business
when people do not communicate well enough?
Effective communication is made from several aspects we usually take for granted and often oversee. The misuse of any of its components can distort our purpose, preventing work agreements from being achieved.
By having each participant review each element of communication and how it can be used to create the greatest impact, you can achieve smoother interactions with the work team, friendlier and more effective customer service, and reduce draining conflicts within and outside the organization.
Stop and think consciously...
How do you create that "invisible connection" with customers, suppliers and teammates in order to maximize your message impact?
What are the most appropriate terms to create the message you want to deliver?
What is the best time to communicate and how long must your speech last?
How do you rate yourself as an active listener?
What resources will allow you to communicate effectively?
How do you chose the best communication channel to deliver your message so that the channel does not "cut" your non-verbal signals?
What structure should your message have in order to be clear enough?
Through this theoretic-practical workshop…
Participants will become aware of the fundamental aspects every communication must have, no matter how simple the message
People will get acquainted with different communication styles so they will be able to recognize the characteristics their message should have to be really understood
Combining this knowledge, participants will create their own criteria around the type of messages, listeners characteristics and diverse resources they have to communicate, arranging them in a way that impacts the most
Using a mix of theory and practical excercises, the following topics will be addressed:
Rapport - How do I tune with the other person's language?
Context - What background and purpose does the communication have?
Understanding - How can I listen and UNDERSTAND better?
Empathy - What happens when I put myself into the other's shoes?
Content - What am I really trying to communicate?
Conclusions - What must happen once the receiver gets it?
Methodology:
This programme is delivered as a workshop for a group of people that understand that good communication creates trust and connection in long-term relationships. Practical excercises will take place in each phase to secure concept understanding.
We can schedule individual follow-up 30-minute sessions for as long as it is required in order to accomplish the objectives you set in your action plan.
